Atlantis™ step-by-step. Production process. The Atlantis™ solution for cement-retained implant prosthetics in five simple steps: You receive an implant-level impression from your clinician. Enter your specific order preferences in Atlantis™ WebOrder. Print the order ticket and send it together with the models to the Astra Tech design and production unit. Astra Tech designs and produces the abutment using the Atlantis VAD™ software. The abutment is checked, approved and produced before it is sent to you. You receive the abutment and proceed with the final work.

Atlantis™ step-by-step

The Atlantis™ solution for cement-retained implant prosthetics in six simple steps:

  1. You receive an implant-level impression from your clinician.
  2. Enter your specific order preferences in Atlantis™ WebOrder.
  3. You can either choose to scan the model in your own laboratory, using Atlantis™ Lab-based scanning, transferring the digital scan files to the Atlantis™ production unit or print the order ticket and send it together with the models to the Atlantis™ production unit. 
  4. If case images are requested, review design in Atlantis™ WebOrder using Atlantis™ 3D Editor. You can choose between the editing function or the viewing function and, if wanted, make minor modification to the Atlantis™ abutment design.
  5. The abutment is designed in the Atlantis VAD™ software, checked, produced and approved.
  6. You receive the abutment and proceed with the final restoration.
